Zamfara State Gov Dauda Lawal Dare is said to have been hit by arrest of former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele.
According to sources, Dauda who is also said to have been mentioned by Emefiele as one of his proxies while in the aftermath of his arrest, has not really been comfortable and wishes that the President call off the arrest of the erstwhile CBN Governor.
It may be recalled that Dauda is said to have been mentioned in the Emefiele interrogation as a proxy to the embattled suspended CBN Governor where it was revealed that he has collected over Eight Billion US dollars for Emefiele.
Dauda Lawal, a former Executive Director of the First Bank Plc was also said to have been a collaborator and associate of Nigeria's former corrupt petroleum Minister Diezani Alison Madueke.
It may also be recalled that the Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal Dare disclosed his assets at 9 trillion Naira but the Governor has denied having declared such figure.
