Office romance could be a heavenly bliss

Paul Olorih tells the story...

Maria Kibande is by every shade of imagination a complete beautiful African woman. She is dark, thick and tall with striking big eyeballs that are both sexy, sultry and sleepy. She is endowed with a massive but intimidating backside and a titillating cleavage that are both full, firm and provocation. Her shoulder length dreadlocks stands her out in every gathering and her unmistakable East-African accent further enhance her sexiness. Her natural beauty is more accentuated with a sparkling dentition and noticeable dimples on both side of her cheeks each time she smiles.

She is a very lively, easy going, unassuming, hardworking and highly intelligent young woman who at age forty two runs the prestigious Marie-gold international (a P.R, advertising, media/Event management and marketing communications firm as C.E.O). Born in the beautiful city of Mombasa to Kenya parents, she move with her family to London at age fourteen when her father (a diplomat) was posted to the United Kingdom as a foreign affairs adviser at the Kenya high commission there. She completed her O’ levels and A’ Level education in London and moved on to the high Brow Oxford University where she earned a first degree in communication studies and a masters degree in management. She worked briefly as a consultant for a P.R Company before joining her best friend, Wuraola Benson, whose father is a billionaire business mogul to set up a fledging partnership, Marie-Gold consult.

Maria Kibande, the hot Kenya beauty relocated to Nigeria to join her friend, Wuraola. Some six years ago to establish and oversee Marie-Gold International as the CEO while Wuraola who worked in her father’s firm as an executive director sit as the financial, founder and executive chair of the Marie-Gold group. Thus, while Marie-Gold International in Lagos serves as the corporate head office of the group, Marie-Gold consult, land on and Marie-Gold media in Nairobi Kenya functions as subsidiaries.

It is pertinent to note here that Maria Kibande was married to one Dr. Daniel Ochello back in London at age 25. Dr. Ochello himself is a medical doctor and son of a rich Kenya oil and gas magnate who lived largely off his father’s wealth on the fast lane. He was fashionable, flamboyant, party-loving, a chronic womanizer and arrogant. His wedding to Maria in London was widely celebrated, but the marriage was stormy, toxic and very abusive. Dr. Ochello could not just restrain himself and be a responsible husband as he continued to keep late nights and held on to his lifestyle of serial drinking, smoking and cheating on his wife from the early days of their marriage. There was little or nothing Maria could do to turn him around as he had the luxury of his father’s wealth to maintain his lavish and irresponsible lifestyle. It got so bad that he infected her with STI’s (Sexually Transmitted Infections) twice.

After the birth of their daughter Victoria, the situation took a more toxic turn for the worse as it degenerated into beating and physical abuse so much so that he was arrested and warned on three occasions by the London metropolitan Police for offences bothering on domestic and physical abuse. Not able to take it anymore and having consulted with her family and friends, Maria filed for divorce to end the marriage after four years. On legally dissolving the marriage, the trial judge awarded custody of three years old Victoria as well as ownership of their London mansion to Maria while admonishing Daniel Ochello to go for a comprehensive therapy.

Three years after their divorce, Daniel Ochello was diagnosed of having contracted the dreaded HIV and was admitted into a treatment centre while relocating to Nigeria to join Wuraola in setting up Marie-Gold International, six years ago she handed Victoria to foster parents to care for her and appointed her deputy as head of Marie-God consult London. It is trite to stress at this point that Maria Kibande ran Marie-Gold International with a very proficient, Midas touch and grew the Company into a global brand and a market leader in the industry. Her management style is very friendly and handy, thus giving every staffer a sense of belonging. The Company is peopled by a crop of very youthful professional, creative and ambitious yound men and women who put their all into growing the company due largely to the management style of the forward looking CEO, Maria Kibande.

Much as she wears an easy-go-lucky mien on the outside, Maria Kibande still struggles deep inside of her with some kind of emptiness which leaves her depressed and absent-minded occasionally: Though she does a good job at hiding and keeping it to herself. The young men and women that work at Marie-God International enjoys working for the Company at their every effort at making the Company a success do not go unrecognized. They were regularly rewarded and appreciated for every positive contributions made by way of a salary raise or a promotion. This promoted very healthy competition among the young executives and further propelled them to challenging their individual skills potentials and creativity.

Walter Edjeta is one of such ambitious, intelligent, hardworking and highly creative executive who is widely regarded as one of the Company’s most reliable staffer as well as an idea box’s of inestimable worth. Having graduated with a first class degree in Mass Communication from the prestigious Pan African University an MBA from the respectable Lagos Business School. he was head hunted by Wuraola’s father to work in the corporate affairs department of his conglomerate from where Wuraola herself poached and begged him to join Marie-Gold International as it’s head of brand management. Within four years, Walter who is thirty seven years old was promoted three times within the top management hierarchy. He has had the seminars as well as several other professional training programmes across the country. He even had a six months stint at the Company’s Kenya subsidiary (Marie-Gold Media) in Nairobi as general-manager before returning back to Nigeria. The Kenyan subsidiary is now being run by Alex Kibande, Maria’s younger brother as the CEO.

Today, Walter Edjeta heads the brand management client services, creative and media relations department of the Marie-Gold International at the group head office in Lagos. Everybody in the Company loves Walter for his intelligence, humility, diligence and commitment to duties. He takes on and executes every brief he is assigned with an uncommon flair and passion and relates very well with every members of staff including even the Company drivers and security guards. He has a very vibrant sense of humour and is ever so willing and ready to give a helping hand to his colleagues with their tasks and assignments. He is indeed a very good team player and a jolly good fellow whose absence in the office is always easily noticeable. Even Maria Kibande, the CEO ha found and taken him to be a very dependable ally especially in the areas of depending very critical briefs and proposals as well as making superb presentations to clients and prospective customers.

Walter also respects her a lot, especially her intelligence, confidence and progressive sense of leadership and as a smart chap, he could tell that she is not a completely happy woman. Something inside of him tells him that she is disturbed somehow and that there is an inexplicable void around her. He however could not place his hands on what it is exactly but he appears determined to find and help her get through it. One bright afternoon, while they were holding a crucial project meeting inside the Company’s conference room, she looked obviously unwell and very absent-minded and even dozed off a few times whilst the meeting lasted. Walter noticed this and kept a studied gaze at her observing her every disposition. Her eyes caught him a few time staring at her but she pretended not to notice it. He also made sure none of the other executives in the room got a wind of him staring at her and to help her get away, he moved a motion for the meeting to adjourn to the next day. Obviously relieved by this move, she quickly packed her files and laptop and retired back to her office.

He waited for a few minutes and trailed her to her office. “Madam, place pardon me for calling for the meeting to be adjourned abruptly like that but I noticed you were not paying attention to the deliberations that were going on at some point and you looked somewhat disturbed and unwell. If I may ask, is everything alright or is there a problem?” He asked as he moved close to her and helped her to sit in one corner of the very lavish oriental leather settee in her office. “Thank you Walter, I’m fine.” She replied as she adjusted herself into the chair with a wink of pain on her face. “No you are not find madam. I can see it all over you. Something is certainly not right. This is not you. You look clearly weak and unwell. What is the problem place talk to me.” He insisted. “I’m find Walter. Just a slight headache and it’s probably because I did not sleep well last night. I’m sure I’ll be find if I can take a short rest.” She replied. “Alright then.” He said “You just sit here. Don’t move and no more work for today. I would help with whatever paperwork you have at hand. Just rest”. He assured her and took three quick steps to the coffee corner in her office and poured some water into the electric kettle and turned it on.

He turned around and say something only to see her dozing off again where she was seated. He quickly dashed out of her office into his own office and returned about two minutes later with a sachet of ginger tea and a ball of lemon. By this time, the water had already boiled. She obviously did not hear him step into her office and within seconds, he poured the ginger tea into a mug, poured the hot water, chopped the lemon into small slices and garnished the tea with it. He pulled a stool close to her, placed the tea on it and tapped her to wake up. “Here you go madam, sip this. It will help soothe the headache and spring you back to action.” She opened her eyes which by now were turning red, gave him a tired look and muttered. “Walter, you’re still here. What is this you are asking me to drink. Please don’t tell me I slept off.” She said curiously. “Don’t worry madam, you will be fine. Its ginger tea and lemon. I take it myself when I’m feeling unwell. I have them in my office refrigerator. It works wonders, you’ll see. Just sip and relax. Do not stress yourself by trying to do any more work today. I’ll be heading back to my office now. If you need another cup, just give me a buzz and if you feel like lying down, place feel free to do so. I will tell your secretary that you should not be disturbed. I will see you later.” Make sure you drink up the content of the cup. He quietly stepped out of her office and instructed her secretary to cancel all her appointments and allow her to rest.

He returned to check her some three hours later and met her sitting up on her executive swivel chair listening to very quiet jazz turn. As he stepped in, her sleepy eyes came to life as she gave him a warm smile revealing her immaculate dentition. She tried to stand up but he asked her not to bother. “Don’t stress yourself madam. I just came to see how you’re doing. So how are you feeling now?” He asked as he buried his fit-frame into the leather settee. “I would say I’m better now Walter, thanks a lot. But if I am ask. What did you put in that concoction you gave me? The headache has disappeared but I still feel slightly weak and I think I slept off for about an hour or two. So what was in the magic mixture?” She asked with some hit of excitement in her voice and on her face. “It’s nothing too complicated. Its ginger tea and lemon. That’s all.”  He answered. “Are you kidding me? Just that? And I feel so relieved. Who prescribed this magic remedy for you?” She asked with a bit more curiosity. “It’s a simple remedy. I take it anytime I have a headache and feel nausea. It was recommended by my younger sister who is a pharmacist and I have them ready always both at home and in my office refrigerator. I would bring some for you tomorrow but you still need to rest. As a matter of fact, you need plenty of it because you still look weak.” He said. “I know” she replied. “Whatever you say Dr. Walter or is it nurse Walter, which do you prefer?” they both laughed heartily.

Walter left for his office leaving Maria to herself to get some rest. While alone behind her desk, tried to get some work done but just could not get herself together. She opened her laptop, gazed at the screen for a while, then shut it back down. She called her secretary to help he with some files but still could not give attention to the paperwork. She stood from her desk, walked briskly in the coffee corner and fixed for herself a very hot coffee. Not able to concentrate to do any work, she just paced about from one end of her office to the other. Realizing that she was somewhat restless, she quietly sat on the leather sofa and wondered to herself why she was feeling that way. She soon realized however that she was thinking more of Walter’s supportive gesture to her. As a matter of fact, Maria Kibande had been somewhat of an emotional wreck for quiet some years especially after the collapse of her marriage. She decided to take a long break from any form of emotional commitment and thus shut her heart against having any relationship whether pedestrian, intimate or serious with the opposite gender. She committed her everything to her job and reserved all of her love for her daughter, Victoria. It’s important to stress here that she worries a lot about family and friends and would automatically switch to being a shadow of herself anytime she gets a hint that her daughter was sick or in some kind of trouble. She can best be described as a worry-worth.

Being an attractive, intelligent, hot and sexy African beauty, Maria is a constant head turner at events and always had men falling ever themselves and making passes at her countless times. As a matter of fact, she stopped accepting invitation to parties just to stave off the harassment and have had to politely turn down many relationship proposals as well as rejected many gifts from men especially the rich and influential because of her personal decision of not wanting to be messed up again emotionally. It is indeed a wonder how she had carried on in this regard because for a fact, the pressure from men have been ceaseless. The fact that she is like this was not accidental. It was indeed deliberate. She had purposely revolved her life around building her career and making huge success of it such that the only thing she does is work, work, work and the only places she shuttles are her house, the office, Wuraola’s place, the spa and occasionally the church. She does not keep friends but reads and watch movies a lot. She also swims and loves playing video games. She drives herself and cooks her meals and if she has to eat out, it is Wuraola’s place or nowhere else.

The afternoon, as she sat in her office and sipped her coffee, she found herself playing back in her head, the gentlemanly gesture and disposition of Walter. She thoughts to herself that since she became single again, no man had gotten so close to showing her such genuine care and concern and being very sincere about it. Her heart pumped faster as she thought about it and her disposition became even lighter just as she felt an uncanny joy inside her heart as she remembered his gentle touch when he held her by the hand and assisted her to sit on the couch before gently persuading her to take the ginger tea and lemon he had made for her. She marveled at his maturity, gentle manliness and kind words. Indeed she was beginning to see life differently from that afternoon and did not just consider the ginger tea a magical concoction but considered Walter also as a magician somewhat. As she sat there gazing at nothing in particular with a cheerful smile on her face and ruminating over everything but nothing in particular, her phone beeped and when she picked it up, it was a text message from Walter. “Hi. Hope you’re feeling much better now. It’s almost 5pm. Don’t you think you should be closing for the day?” she smiled and immediately shot back a reply. “Thanks a million. I am good and yea, I think I should close early today.”

Moment later, she heard a knock on her office door and answered sharply “come right in”. The door flung open and behold, it was Walter. They both smiled at each other as he said “I got coming immediately I saw your text. I guess you are ready to head out now. At least, you have achieved a thing or two for the day. So all you need to do now is go home, get some food to eat, take your medication and sleep. No work, no Tv, no stress, just sleep” she just sat there looking at him and not saying anything. He took a few steps close to her desk and started arranging her table and packing her things and continued “You are not taking any file home and you are leaving this laptop behind because that is the only way to guarantee that you take that deserved rest when you get home. Here” he reached for his breast pocket and brought out a pack of capsules. “This here is called Sleep-O-Pain. It has analgesic and sedative component. I sent my younger sister a message telling her how you were feeling and she recommended this. I quick sent my driver to get it from the pharmacy two streets away from here. She assured that this medicine is very, very good and I trust her judgment because she is one of the best pharmacists in town.” She smiled and collected the pack from him and he could not help but notice her dimples. “Did you have to take the trouble to do all of this?” she said as she admired the pack of medicine. “Anyway, thanks indeed. I genuinely appreciate this gesture. You are such a gentleman.” She concluded. “The pleasure is all mine. I have one request though. Please allow me to drive you home because I wont let you drive in this condition. You still look weak and fragile and since you don’t have a driver, I will drive you home. My driver will come with my car behind us so that he can take me home after I drop you off at your house.” He concluded. “Don’t worry Walter, I am fine.” She said as she sat back lazily. “No, no, no, I insist. I won’t let you drive yourself in this condition and please do not argue. I am driving you home.” He look the medication back from her, returned it to his breast pocket, handed her her bag and picked her car kay from the table.

Uncharacteristically, she quietly followed him like someone hypnotized. When they got to the car park downstairs, he instructed his driver to drive behind them; while opening the passenger door of her SUV for her to get behind the wheels and drove out of the premises. As they drove home, they didn’t talk much except when he asked her for description to her house. Though they managed to steal a couple of glances from each other intermittently.

The drive home was smooth. She lived in a three bedroom bungalow all by herself with two security guards at the gate. As the stepped into the apartment, he could not help but admire her afro centric taste as every furnishing and decorative item in the house has an African touch to it. As she settles herself on the settee, he asked if she was hungry so he could fix her a quick dinner. She said she wasn’t hungry but that if she wanted to eat anything, she would find something in the fridge. He looked at her, smiled and said to her “You seem to be doubting if I can cook, right. Wait until you eat my food.” She smiled back at him and said “No, not that. I’m just not hungry and of course, I believe you can cook. Something tells me you would be a very good cook. Just don’t be in a hurry to prove it to me. You will have your day sometime soon.” “If you say so, but I need you to eat something so you can take your medication.” He said as he opened the fridge, looked around, brought out a bowl of salad from the many packs of food in the fridge, poured a glass of pineapple juice, pulled out a tray and served it on the dinning. “Here you go” he said. “eat this and take two capsules of this and rest. Can I fix you a warm bath?” She shook her head saying “No, don’t worry. I’ll be find. I’ll take a shower before I hit the bed.” She said as she stepped over to the dinning to start eating the salad. “I see that your fridge is quiet busy. Would you like some sausage or grilled fish to support the salad” “Fish would be fine” she replied. He quickly dashed to the fridge, served some fish on a fist plate and returned to the dinning with it. “Here we go. Can I feed you.” He asked again. She looked at him with a smile and said “You are such a handful, aren’t you? Anyway not to worry and not today. I’ll be just fine, thanks.” “Okay then, let me leave you to enjoy your meal as I should be taking my leave now. But please don’t forget to take your drugs and no works, no tv. Just go inside and rest.” “Okay then, thanks Walter. Let me lock the door behind you and please call me when you get home.” She escorted him to the to the door, waved him bye-bye and watched on as his driver drove him out of the house. She locked the door and returned to the dinning to finish her meal. Afterwards, she popped two capsules of the Sleep-O-Pain into her mouth, gulped it down with a glass of water and retired into her room.

That night, they exchanged a few text messages between themselves, as she enquired to know if he got home in one piece and in good time. She also asked to know what he was having for dinner that night. He replied to say he was having jollof rice with some vegetable and chicken. They then wished each other a happy night rest for the day.

Her phone range as early as 5:30am the next morning, it was Walter. “Hello” he said from the other end. “Good morning, are you up already. I hope I didn’t wake you up” “Hi Walter, no you didn’t wake me up, I’m already awake. Infact, I was playing candy crush on my phone when your call came through” she replied and asked “How about you? Did you sleep well” “Yes I did, and I am reviewing some presentation from yesterday’s meeting. Do you feel well enough t make it to work this morning?” he asked “sue, I’m good to go.” She replied. “Okay then, I’ll talk to you later. Just said I should check you up. Bye” she puts away the phone and rushed into the bathroom. The next time her phone rang, it was almost 6:45am and it was Walter “Hello, I am 10 minutes away from your house. Hope you are all set” “really” she answered sounding rather surprised. “I had no idea you were coming here” she said. “I’m sorry I didn’t mention it. I’m actually coming to pick you to work” he said. “But… I think I am okay enough to drive to the office” she stuttered. “Alright then, maybe I should ask my driver to reverse the car and head straight to the office.” He said on the other end. “No, no, no, I’m not saying you shouldn’t bother, you can come over since you are already close by. I just wasn’t expecting that you would go through the trouble again this morning. I will unlock the front door from behind, so just walk right in when you get here. Let me quickly finish dressing up. See you soon. Thanks.” She hung up and hurriedly started to dress up for work.

He arrived her residence some five minutes later, stepped into the kitchen, got some fruits and quickly prepared a glass of smoothie with two slices of corned beef sandwich. He laid it on a tray, carried it to the door of her room, knocked and she answered from the other side. “Walter is that you?” “Yeah its me.” He answered “I will be with you in a minute. Just parking my hair” She repaid. He took two steps backward and stood right in front of her room door still carrying the tray. Almost immediately, she stepped out of her room looking radiant in a black flair and a sky blue, striped packet shirt. She was obviously shocked to see him with the tray but before she could say anything, he handed her the tray. “Here, quickly have this before setting out. It’s a good starter.” He said. She collected  it but protested saying “I am not really a breakfast person but thank you” “Okay then” he said. You can have the smoothie while I eat the sandwich” he said as they both walked to the dinning table. “Where did the smoothie come from?” She asked. “Oh, its very fresh, I can assure you. I made it immediately I stepped in since you already have everything in the fridge.” He said as he chewed away at the sandwich. “Hmm, this smoothie is really refreshing” she said as she sipped from the glass “Let me quickly get my handbag from the room.” She stood up to go to her room and stepped out moments later clutching her handbag and car key. Just about then, she saw him coming out of the kitchen. ‘Do you have something like a food flask?” He asked. “Sure I do. What do you need it for?” “I just made some oat which I want you to take at the office before lunch. It’s good and it will energize you for the day. My mum is a nutritionist and she made me understand that oats are very good morning starters.” She followed him to the kitchen and picked out the flask. “Do you like sugar?” She said. He quickly mixed up the oat, poured it in the flask and they were set to hit the road.

Just like the previous evening, he drove in her car with her on the passenger’s seat while his driver drove his car behind them. The road was very free that morning with very light traffic. Again, they didn’t talk much in the car but the dialogue was an improvement of the previous days. “I must say, you smell really nice this morning. What perfume are you wearing? And I like your shirt.” He said “Oh thank you so much for the compliment. My perfume is cartier and the shirt is st. Dasiva. By the way, you look great yourself and lest I forget, I slept like a baby last night. I’m sure I would’ve woken up late if not for the alarm I set for 5am” she said “I’m glad to hear that you had a nice sleep last night. I’m sure it’s the medicine. Just don’t do too much in the office today. Take the oat around 10am before the meeting which has been rescheduled for eleven. I’ll come help you afterwards with your paper work. Just don’t do too much” He concluded. Again, she smiled and concluded “Whatever you say Nurse Walter.” They both laughed as they drove through the busy roads of Lagos.

Walter and Maria got much closer to each other and they grew fond of each other each passing day. They both knew that their friendship was much more than the ordinary and while they were not in denial of their feelings for each other, they didn’t rush to talk about it formerly as they left things to take a natural cause. They however exchanged text messages between themselves and sometimes made late night video calls to each other. One Friday evening, just before close of work, Walter asked Maria if he could pay her a visit at home the next day (a Saturday) saying he had something important to tell her. She agreed.

The next day, a bright Saturday, she work up pretty early decorated her apartment with sensuous scented flowers and cooked a special Kenyan delicacy. She dressed in a special traditional attire that made her look every inch like a Kenyan princess with complementary beads and shimmering anklets. Her doorbell rang just before noon and as she opened the door to welcome him, he could not help but give her a hug on beholding the fullness of her resplendence. “Wow. You look like a heavenly queen” he said “Really, thank you.” She said. “You don’t look bad yourself” as he escorted her to the sitting area. He was dressed in an all while suit with a white shirt and a silver necklace with a black Armani suede shoe. “What can I offer you, water, juice, beer, brandy or whiskey?” “I know my way around and I will serve myself when I am ready” he said. “I know that, but today, you are my guest, so I will do the serving” She insisted “Alright then, but I don’t drink, so let me have a glass of juice.” He replied. As she turned around and walked towards the fridge to get the drink, he could not help take his eyes off her. She looked really dashing and heavenly. She soon returned with two glasses of juice. “I prepared a special Kenyan delicacy. Are you ready to eat now?” “No, not now. Maybe later” he replied. “Not maybe, you must eat before leaving my house today. So what is this important matter you want to see me about?” She asked curiously as she sipped from her glass “Oh, should we go right into it immediately” he asked. “sure, why not? I don’t like suspense.”

By this time they had left the dinning session and had settled comfortably on separate sofas in the living area. He cleared his throat and adjusted his suit collar and started “Well, I hope you are not going to take offence at anything I will say here. So first off, let me apologize in advance if I overreach myself or cross the line with you.” She gazed at him with studied attention and muttered quietly “Come on Walter, just get on with it and I promise, nothing you say here will upset me. So get to it, I’m all ears” “Okay then” he continued. “I… have actually taken all time to dry and study you and I must say that you are a wonderful woman of course, very beautiful and you’re a nice and warm person with a good heart. But curiously, something inside of me tells me that you are disturbed. There seem to be an emptiness around you, you look pretty much a cheerful person on the outside but I don’t think you are happy on inside.

I know there is a void somewhere and somehow, but I can’t just wrap my head around it exactly. I may be wrong, but if I am right by any stroke of chance, can you for God’s sake put a closure to it by finding true happiness again? What I’m saying in a nutshell is if indeed there is a void for which reason you don’t have inner happiness, can you p-l-e-a-s-e give me the chance to fill the void. I know deep inside of me that I can help you find joy and genuine laughter again. Yes, I can make you a happy woman. I have grown so fond of you that I hardly do anything without thinking about you. I have come to like you very sincerely and I know that if you give me the chance to fill that void in your life, you will never regret it. I am not saying all of these because I want any material favour from you, but what I feel for you is real and genuine.

I am not a womanizer, but I can be a hopeless romantic f I see someone my heart truly desires and looking at you right here, I am saying to you again, place give me the chance to fill that emptiness in your heart.” She look quite stunned and went quiet for some time. He also sat back gazing at her and trying to size up her countenance quietly. The atmosphere was engulfed with an uncommon silence, she suddenly raised her head up to look at him, cleared her voice as she heaved a gentle sigh and then responded. “I really don’t know what to say Walter. Maybe I used my own hands to shut myself out of the rest of the world emotionally but I never thought I could love again or have someone love me again. I decided many years ago to love myself and myself alone. That may, I will avoid the complications and complexities of being heart-broken or being messed up. You are right in your observation. I sometimes feel very empty in my heart, but I am scared. I don’t want to be messed up by anybody. I don’t want to be used and dumped, and I don’t want my heart to be used to play ping-pong. So, that void is there and I honestly do not feel hopeless about it. But if I may make a living confession, I was surprised myself when I began to think more about you.

I missed you when I don’t see you, I miss you when I don’t talk to you or hear from you, and I began to miss your clearing gestures each time I am alone. I many have not created the chance for it, but no man had come close to showing me care and genuine likeness over the years like you have done recently and yet I admit, I have also come to like you very much and I think I need you to help me fill the emptiness in my heart and take me back to the land of emotional bliss and happiness. If you have not held this discussion with me today, I planned to sit us down someday and I will raise it myself. As for your request to fill the void, you just got that chance. But I just hope you won’t misuse it and I hope you won’t mess with my heart.? As she said all of these, some droplets of tears streamed from her eyes down to her cheeks. Shocked and excited at the same time, Walter reached for his pocket, brought out a sparkling white handkerchief and used it to gently wipe her tears resting his left arm on her right shoulder and assuring her that she would be fine.
